Executive Chairman

Dato Joe

Dato Joe Chang Chor Choong (“Dato Joe”) was appointed as an Executive Chairman of the Company with effect from 25 December 2016. He is responsible to drive MC Group of Companies’ short and long-term growth plans, charting the strategic direction of the company, leading the drive to operational excellence, allocating capital as well as forming strategic partnerships with clients and stakeholders.

Dato Joe brings with him more than 15 years of diverse experience in the alcoholic beverage with proven track record in wine and spirit OEM manufacturing industry.

He is also the investor and advisor for Scientific R&D Sdn Bhd, one of the leading alcoholic OEM provider in Malaysia

Dato Joe is actively overseeing the company’s new R&D product, including the recent invention of the world first coconut whisky, under the brand of Coco Cabana.

Dato also serves on the Boards of Directors at Samurai 2K Aerosol Limited, the first IPO on SGX (Singapore Exchange) in 2017.

Managing Director

Datuk Harry Ng

Datuk Harry Ng is the General Partner and founding member of MC Group of Companies. He serves as the Managing Director of the company, overlooking overall management and operations. Commercially focused IT Professional and regional marketing with over 15+ years’ progressive hands-on experience across a diverse industry primarily in the telecommunication, internet marketing and retail industry.

Datuk Harry Ng officially took on the role of leading MC Group of Companies on 2016, and responsible for running all of the company’s operations across its 5 operating divisions. Datuk Harry Ng is also an advisor to several of the leading CEOs and corporations, and is recognized in particular for his crisis management experience.

He also own EVERWORKS Ventures, located in Kuala Lumpur, provides funding to innovative startups around Asian. With more than a dozen multi-million dollar funds under its management, EVERWORKS Ventures focuses its investment in IT, Mobile Payment, Game Intelligent Property, Big Data, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, F&B Technologies and Next Generation Technologies.
